Stone processing plant mainly includes crushing plant and grinding mill. Both methods are used to reduce the size of or powder industrial rocks and minerals by crushers or grinding machines, which are called Stone processing machines and equipments. After processing, the stone or rock can apply in construction, building, highway and some chemical industries.
Crusher in stone processing plant is to make bigger stone (30mm~1000mm) smaller (0mm~50mm); popular crushers have jaw crusher, impact crusher, VSI crusher (sand making machine) and so forth.
Grinding mill in stone processing plant is the required powdering or pulverizing process when final size of below 2 mm is needed, grinding practice is a large and diverse area of manufacturing and tool making, grinding machines can produce very fine finishes (12~2500mesh/1.6mm~0.005mm), there are traditional ball mill, new developed MSB coarse powder mill, MTM trapezium mill and MTW trapezium mill etc.
Crusher can work separately or together with other equipments (like vibrating feeder, belt conveyor, screening machine etc.) to form a stone processing plant, the designed capacity can be from 50tph to 800tph (ton per hour), either fixed or mobile. To meet customer’s specific requirement, other stone processing plant machines and equipments such as cone crusher, sand washing machine, dust catcher etc. can be added on the stone processing plant. While grinding machine usually work with other machines (small jaw crusher, bucket elevator, classifier, bag filter etc.) to form a grinding system.

Flow of stone processing line
Stone processing line is divided into gravel production line, sand production line. Generally speaking, one complete set of stone production line should include: vibrating feeder, fist degree crushing equipments, second degree crushing equipments, vibrating screen, conveyor belt, and electric control panel and so on.
Stone production line is mainly composed of vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, Impact crusher, vibrating screen, electronic control and belt conveyors, etc. Big size stones are transferred to primary crusher through vibrating feeder from hopper for first crushing, and then the crushed materials are transferred to impact crusher through belt conveyor for secondary crushing. The materials crushed will be transferred to the vibrating screen, and separated to different sizes. The aggregate with suitable size will be transferred to the final product pile and aggregate with unsuitable size will be transferred to the impact crusher for recrushing. This forms a closed and manifold cycles. The sizes of final products will be graded and separated according to customers’ requirements, and the duster will be attached for the sake of environment protection.
